Dictionary online. The dictionary is accessible through a search engine,
returning definitions for the input world

Webster's Dictionary This hypertext Webster
interface provides a point-and-click interface for accessing the various
Webster's dictionary services on the Internet. Words in the resulting
definitions are hypertext linked back into the dictionary, allowing you to
use your mouse to access the definition of those related (and unrelated)

International Dictionaries
- The
LOGOS Dictionary Translates user-input words and phrases to numerous
languages. For the multimedia-enabled, some phrases have .wav samples! From

E-Conflict World Encyclopedia profiles the nations of the world,
including maps, information on government, current conflicts, flags, and
audios of national anthems.

Free Internet Encyclopedia is a mixture of other online resources. This
site is divided into macro and micropedias, both of which may be searched
alphabetically.

Knowledge Adventure Encyclopedia is searchable and connects you to a
bunch of articles on each topic. The graphics give the impression that the
site is for younger students only, but take a look. You'll probably be
surprised.
